Price Transparency Rule
Your business/ physical store and your online store agree to sell either goods, e-goods or services at the same price offline as online, which ensures consumer confidence. Businesses found to be breaking the Price Difference Rule will be suspended from the service for a minimum period of 7 days. The suspension period will be determined by the severity and on repeat infringement.
Businesses that sell to consumers have a duty not to engage in any practices that may mislead consumers. Whether something is misleading to the point where it is illegal would have to be looked at on a case by case basis. Insofar to Pricing Gib.shopping would only welcome a price difference should there be a lesser price for an ‘exclusive online offer’.
